SWIMMING POOL IN GAASTERLAND

Come and have a nice swim in our large and lovely heated swimming pool. The swimming pool is indoors so you can swim all year round and it is suitable for the whole family! There is a separate kids’ pool and in warm weather, the sliding doors are open so you can easily switch between indoors and outdoors. Children without an A/B diploma must wear swimming armbands.

Opening times until 17 July and after 3 November 2024
8.30 am – 10 am lane swimming
10 am – 1 pm free swimming
Mon, Wed and Fri: 7 pm – 9 pm free swimming

Opening times 18 July to 3 November 2024
8.30 am – 10 am lane swimming
10 am – 9 pm free swimming

In the summer holidays our swimming pool is open all day (18 July to 29 August).

SWIMMING LESSONS

You can come to Friese Meren (‘T Hop) for the most fun swimming lessons in Friesland! Children up to 12 years may take part in the swimming lessons that are given in our heated swimming pool, there are 2 different swimming schools active.

AQUAROBICS

Under expert supervision, there is intense training to improve fitness/endurance levels and to bring the body back into balance. During the lesson, various materials are worked with, such as halters, flexibeams, lesson boards, balls, etc.

Payment
A pass for 10 swims /Aquarobics costs € 62.50 per pass, is valid for 4 months and is person-specific. If you choose to pay per lesson, you must make the payment prior to the lesson. A refund is not possible under any circumstances.

Lesson days/times
Monday: 1.30 pm – 2.15 pm (Start 1/9)
Tuesday: 7.15 pm – 8 pm (Start 31/8)
Tuesday: 8 pm – 8.45 pm (Start 31/8)
A maximum of 25 people can take part per lesson. During public holidays & school holidays, there are no Aquarobics lessons.
